Big Horn Co-operative Announces Closure of Some Retail Locations

Greybull, WY, December 4, 2024 —

Big Horn Co-operative Marketing Association is announcing the closure of some of their retail locations while they switch focus toward profitable energy and agronomy business. All retail locations will be open until the end of December with closures affecting the Basin Farm Store, Buffalo Farm Store, Greybull Farm Store, Powell Farm Store, and Worland Farm Store.

Riverton Farm Store, Worland C-Store, and Powell Tire will remain open to serve customers. Fuel pumps at all locations will remain open as unmanned cardtrol/credit card pumps. Big Horn Co-op will continue to offer bulk fuel, propane, and all agronomy services in locations.

Big Horn Co-op opened their doors in 1923 in Basin, WY. Since that time, Big Horn Co-op has taken on many different roles, from turkeys and dry beans to tire shops and fuel delivery. This decision to close some retail locations by the Board of Directors is in an effort to preserve the company in entirety to see another 100 years.

We hope to have our communities support now during this transition and in to the future.

Thank you.
